Phase I  - Evaluation 
Renovating? Building a new home?  Sometimes the hardest part is just knowing where to start.

The EcoHome Evaluation walk through provides a first-look analysis of your home to determine simple steps you can take to lower energy costs, reduce your carbon footprint and live a healthier lifestyle.

The EcoHome Evaluation assessment of your home will include:

• Weatherization strategies
• Appliance efficiencies
• Water usage
• Waste reduction opportunities
• Window and door air tightness
• Air sealing and building envelope quality.

OR

The EcoHome Energy Audit provides an in-depth technical analysis of your home's mechanical systems, air quality and environment, looking for opportunities for energy use reduction and sustainable alternatives.

Our auditors will assess:

• Insulation
• Heating and cooling systems
• Rood and exterior materials
• Plumbing and electrical systems
• Site Layout and Irrigation
• Windows and Doors 

Once completed, we will create a customized EcoHome Checklist and Guide, outlining steps and suggesting priorities to consider, as well as resources to make implmenting changes easier.

Phase II - Implementation

After either evaluation, EcoHome Chicago offers Project Management services to manage the process of going green for you ensuring that both the design integrity and the sustainable solutions you chose are implemented correctly.
